    I don't get why people hate having cars that are used as taxis

    Benzes in Singapore are used as Taxis too but they don't seem to complain

    I don't even see the issue with it. Maintenance-wise, nakakatuwa nga eh. Hindi ka mahihirapan humanap ng pyesa.

    Hindi ba mataas na ang price ng Vios based on Bangkok pricing? Baka mahal na para gawing taxi, Avanza na lang ang maging taxi.

    I can't wait to see the 3rd gen Vios! Then I can decide between the EX or Vios. hehe.

    Correct. Nakakahiya naman sa kanila, pumupunta pa sa thread na 'to at nagsasayang oras sa taxing Vios na yan LOL!!!

    *Cathy: yup, the prices are a bit steep. Especially with the S variant, which already entered the 1M mark when directly converted to peso. TMPI might still be able to do something to lower the price but that equals lowering the content too.

    1.5S model goes for P1,023,000 when directly converted to peso

    entry model 1.5J is for P779,000. No mention of any 1.3L model at least during the Thai launch.

    ^What?!?! The Base model is almost P800k na? Historically, does Toyota offer other variants from Bangkok?
