i dont think kailangan natin ng diesel treatment.....i'll opt for mineral oil only.....sa 10K ako mag-full synthetic...but i' will not use their XP Turbo....15W-50 rin lang naman yon.....

4,100+ for light check up using mineral oil. ganyan ang 1k, and 5k pms ko cost ko. citimotors lp. for my 10k pms, i brought my own oil (Mobil Delvac) + 10% surcharge. 3,900+ naman total cost ko.

Share ko lang. 2012 Gls-v. 13,090kms all stock. I experienced slight "tope" or detonation. Power loss lalo na at low revs and very distinct clackety sound. I filled up with Petron turbo diesel full tank prior that one occasion otherwise I use shell fuel save or v-power.

Sa casa akala ko valve timing i-aadjust but what they said "si-niquence yung injectors". I think it means they adjusted the injector timing via computer. Ok na uli yung montero. I read a lot of people get better results with petron pero it seems my car prefers shell or at least my regular station where I gas up.

usually every 20k nila ito ginagawa sir. pero good thing ganun lang at okay na ulit Montero mo.

Kailan pa pinalitan ng 5W-40 yung Turbo XP at saang casa? Kaka PMS kolang last month 15W-50 parin yung Full Synthetic Turbo XP na nilagay nila.

Sa citimotors nakita ko naka display nila na xp ay 15w-50. Sana nga 5w-40 na para sulit.....

Yup sir ek2jayvee. ok na sya uli power is back, engine still sounds as agricultural as ever pero thats normal naman ata with the montero. The clacking sound though is gone. Now I would like to try yung euro4 unioil problem lang is sasadyain ko pa dahil the nearest station is out of my regular route and quite far away.

Done with my1000km Pms....spent 2,577 at citimotors las pinas....brought delo gold oil, 7 liters * 180 per liter.....less than 4k....ok na rin....brought my car at around 9 am, out before 12.....pans in ko lang,7 out of 10 nagpapaservice ay montero....

1k PMS is very important, not only the routine PMS schedule like oil, oil filter, fluid check up... It is also the over all check up (suppose to be) of your car, wheel balansing (kung may problema), tire, shocks, & everything. Kaya kung magka-problema ka sa future ay pwedeng ma-void lahat.

Halimbawa, may natanggal yung bolt sa ilalim at partialy nadis-allign yung allignment at naapektuhan ang suspension...etc
Or yung drain plug ng ATF na nagleak, below minimum na pala at kumatok yung transmission before your 5k PMS...
Pwede nilang ikatwiran, "hindi nai-1k check up!

Suggestion ko, either na ipa check up mo pa rin ng 1k except the oil dahil sabihin mo na pinalitan mo na at ipakita mo yung specs ng langis kung ok sa kanila. Or papalitan mo yung oil filter ng filter nila. Sa 5k PMS sa kanila pa rin.. In the that case may chance ka pa para hindi ma-void yung total bumper-to-bumper waranty.

10k PMS, its up to you. Maramdaman mo naman kung walang overall issue yung car.

Welcome bro.
Remember, sa pag claim ng waranty e battle of reasoning din yan, konting pakikisama sa mga tao sa casa at mga salesman mo. Makaktulong din sila in the future.

Hindi lahat ng routine PMS nila pag hindi nagawa e void pa rin, at pag sinunod mo naman lahat e hindi rin assurance yun na approve lahat ng warranty.

Ok lang yan, dito nga sa motorplaza from manila yung unit nung nagclaim ng engine replacement within 2mos natapos yung unit. Mas mabait mga tao sa province kasi hindi sila kasing pressure nung mga tao sa Manila. Pero kadalasan sa province ang hirap humingi ng discount dahil siguro sa less ang competition.

hahaha oo grabe ang layo ng difference sa pricing kya manila nako kumuha, more or less 100K difference eh. Pinahabol ko pa sa kanila dito kung kaya nila habulin yung price eh wala naman sila magawa.

Anyways, salamat ulet sa advice. Hopefully, may taga-casa rin sana dito na pwede magconfirm kung voided naba talaga warranty or not.

^the dealership need not know, if your current kmage is just a few hundreds above 1thou km have it serviced again with them.

consider your initial change oil as flushing so dont avail of it anymore in case they will offer it to you

its a common misconception that the unit need to be serviced where you got the unit, its simply not true especially for your case because its impractical to send the unit to manila from davao just for servicing. plus, the service manual indicate all the manufacturers affiliated dealership nationwide so youd know where its safe to have your car serviced

para makasiguro na sa kanila kukuha ng oil filter, eto strategy nila. dami daw kasi ayaw na gumamit ng oem filters
