January 4th, 2008 03:09 AM #31hi sir macho,
i suggest you buy your spark plugs from honda. when i replaced the spark plugs of my dad's accord i noticed that the spark plug no was different from the sparkplug the honda auto supply gave us. i asked them for the exact same spark plug as the original one but they said that pareho lang. but a closer look and you will notice that there is a difference on the length of the electrode.
with the proper sparkplugs and tune up. your plugs will last you more than 30,000km. you may also consider having your valves clearance checked. FYI, valves are adjusted at a certain running temp. best to have the casa do it for you. so far my dads accord has ran 120,000km. and its still running fine.

January 9th, 2008 12:46 PM #33Do spark plugs have to be changed periodically (like in x amount of time or in x amount of kilometers?)? Or do you just have to 'feel' kung dapat na palitan?

ideally dapat talaga periodically palit ng spark plugs pero kung medyo tight budget just check and clean them periodically.
