December 9th, 2012 07:47 AM #1Hi Guys,
I just want to get feedback on Nano-Tech. Maganda ba to? Is this better than VKool and Huper Optik? Sabi sa shop, maganda daw to kasi walang signal interference.

December 14th, 2012 08:16 PM #6Using IR heat rejection in advertisements is misleading the consumers. The only accepted industry standard for heat rejection is TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected).
Also, each tint variant will provide different TSER values and not just a single value as advertised by the mentioned shop.
Nanotech VIP Series
Super Black: VLT = 8%, TSER = 58%
Medium Black: VLT = 15%, TSER = 55%
Neutral: VLT = 30%, TSER = 40%
V.I.P. Series|Nano Technology
Nanotech Charcoal Series
Supe Black: VLT = 5%, TSER = 60%
Medium Black: VLT = 20%, TSER = 50%
Neutral: VLT = 35%, TSER = 56%
Charcoal Series|Nano Technology
Nanotech Reflective Series
Dark: VLT = 10%, TSER = 64%
Medium: VLT = 25%, TSER = 62%
Neutral: VLT = 35%, TSER = 55%

December 14th, 2012 09:57 PM #7My personal comparison of TSER (Total Solar Energy Rejected) data among brands. Do take it with a grain of salt.
Tint series that belong to same tier will provide comparable (but not exact) heat rejection performance.
Tint series that belong to higher tier generally costs more.
Tier 1:
V-Kool VK and X series
Huper Optik (All)
SolarGard LX series
3M CR series
Tier 2:
V-Kool K series
Nano-Tech (All)
SolarGard HP and Sterling series
3M BC and CS series
Tier 3:
V-Kool OEM series
SolarGard Non-HP series
3M FX series
Consider also the warranty length. 5-7 years warranty are pretty common now.

December 17th, 2012 12:56 PM #8Thanks for the info red_one. TSER pala dapat ang tinitingnan at hindi ang infrared heat rejection.
Btw, this is their official website. Charcoal Series|Nano Technology
After few days of testing it, so far okay naman.
No offense sa naka 3m. Just sharing my personal experience. Kaya nung makuha ko yung bagong car, I opted for Huper Optik and Vkool based sa mga review dito.
Yung kabit, so far, wala pako nakikita bubbles. Di ko pa sya naiinspect ng maigi.

February 8th, 2013 04:33 PM #9I'm having nanotech clear 9060 installed on my windshield. I'll post feedback in a week after I've tested it. For the charcoal series they quoted the price of P8500 for the rest of the car. 10 yrs warranty from a Japanese made tint brand. Sounds comparable to vkool in specs so I'm interested to see how it compares.
