a reliable source has told us that the launch could take place as early as the month of July, barring any conflicts in scheduling. In fact, our informant shares that the actual units are already in the country—“in the port area” now as we write this.

It is likely that that the Philippine spec version will sport the 150-horsepower version of Volkswagen’s 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine. If that’s the case, it’s mated to a 7-speed DSG. It looks like cruise control is in the mix, too.
