Ayan ang astig at romantic!
Go for it!!!
(I remember a Senior Vice President (a foreigner) of our company.... He and his wife rode the kalesa or karitela from Binondo, Manila to the hotel where they were staying in Makati.... According to them, they were the toast of the town as people along the way were waiving at them.....)....

February 13th, 2008 10:44 AM #13yeah cool talaga ang top down na beetle! kaya nga ayoko pabenta yun beetle nila wifey kahit rundown na. i plan to restore it or maybe modify the ride para topdown convertible. pero as much as possible stock parts pa rin to maintain the old school look then pa-rent for weddings. ang hirap kasi maghanap ng vintage na white na for rent. maganda kasi sa pictorial yun lalo na black and white. pang-frame talaga
kalesa is also classic. problem with that is kung malayo ang reception from the church and hotel pero maganda yun ideawala rin ako makitang kalesa at the time of our wedding. yun 4 wheeled carriage sana. medyo alangan yun kalesa sa binondo area eh

My sister used a Ford Expedition during her wedding and my cuz used a white Suburban for her wedding (both in Calaruega).
If i had a choice, an old Mustang convertible would be my wedding car after the ceremonies.
there are vintage cars up for rent for such occassions AFAIK.

Ok naman SUV to use a a bridal car, it does the job (taking the bride) and looks cool IMO. Also, it's a logical choice since most roads in the Metro may be classified as "off-road", thanks to the moon-like craters everywhere, so the bride gets to church in comfort, style and with peace of mind IMO.

Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
