January 26th, 2020 10:16 AM #1my 2003 altis AT's trans has to be fixed. AT shift stick doesn't rake smoothly. may resistensiya na nakukuha sa de gulat while pressing AT shift button.
the transmission functions and auto-shifts well naman, once the stick is in place.
we have ruled out cable and AT stick assembly causes.
a shop in sucat, DnR (sounds ominous to doctors!), was recommended. shop says they will require car to be left for three days. but i am wary of the three days, as "many things can happen to the car while in there".
banawe guys say they do it in one day, "while-you-loiter".
either choice estimates the same cost (20-25K).
recommendations?

Oks dyan sa DnR Fast Auto Repair Shop. I used to bring our cars there when we had a number of out-of-warranty Hondas. Donnie, the owner, is easy to talk to and he will be honest in his assessment. AT trannies are their specialty. They will let you know if the car can be done in a day or two. They also have a number of tow trucks including a flatbed one for AT cars.
Lagi puno dyan kaya dapat maaga ka kung papagawa ka dyan.
