March 19th, 2014 02:40 AM #1161No disrespect and no offense meant, but I thought this thread is for discussing "over-speeding, speed-radar" along NLEX, SCTEX and my intent is to share to others that TPLEX also apparently has the same speed-radars similar to NLEX, SCTEX... please correct me, if I am misunderstanding where you are coming from on your early reply to my post.

If you cannot argue your way out of the speeding ticket, I think you can accept it "under protest" and then have it handled at LTO main. As to what I have heard, your chances of having it dismissed is good especially there is no speedcam photo evidence of you speeding.

Are they capable of detecting your speed during night time? I think I was caught overspeeding last week around 9pm, upon approaching the toll gate, there was an enforcer rushing towards me and waving at me. There was no car behind me so I'm pretty sure it was me he's after. But I was not able to stop since I was only made aware of the situation by my passenger when I was already inside the toll booth and I have EC tag so tuloy-tuloy lang ako.

March 19th, 2014 08:15 PM #1167You're right.
Just found out from my LTO contact that they have my license now but there is no field report that is required from the deputized LTO person that apprehended me nor a copy whether print or electronic of a speedcam captured evidence of my vehicle overspeeding supposedly at 125kph.
I will have to pay the amount fee but will do it "under dispute / protest" attesting the following:
- The written body color of my vehicle on the LTO pink slip is wrong
- There is no evidence of speedcam captured instance of my vehicle overspeeding contrary to what the apprehending LTO deputized person claimed last Saturday
- There is no actual incident report required to be submitted by the LTO deputized person to LTO-Main

March 21st, 2014 04:35 PM #1168Here's the ending to this incident:
1. LTO wasn't able to provide a copy of the actual speedcam captured
2. Instead of overspeeding at 125kph written on the pink slip by the apprehending LTO deputized person, the final verdict written on the LTO OR is "reckless driving"
3. No copy of the actual field report was able to be produced
At the end of the day, this seemed fishy. Hence, be careful when you navigate that portion and if you are flagged down supposedly via a speedcam, demand that a proof is presented right on the spot. Otherwise, they can always alleged anyone to be overspeeding to get your license card and have you pay hefty penalties for a different set of offense.

Not just the engine. It's literally a D-Max with Mazda styling, but everything mechanical is Isuzu....
