May 12th, 2016 06:54 AM #1I called up LTO.. they said unregistered cars can only be used up to 1 week.. but the car company said they can extend it up to 3 weeks while applying for registration.. is this true?
Would the Traffic Enforcers like MMDA honour the one week extension?

imho, if it is unregistered, it should be first registered before plying the roads.
maski wala kang plaka, but yung enforcers will ask for your OR/CR.
kung wala kang OR/CR, hindi pa registered sasakyan mo.
i dont think the casa can take 3 weeks to register the car. tama na yung 3 days dyan.

Mga Paps, sorry for the hijack but this was left unanswered in another thread which I could not find anymore.
Pwede na ba ulit magpa register 1 month before schedule?

May 12th, 2016 02:15 PM #5I called up MMDA at telephone no. 136. Puwede daw present lang yung sales invoice at CSR (Certificate of Stock Report) to enforcers for up to 5 days.. pero CASA told me gawa silang extension... tapus sabi ng MMDA kung may extension from CASA.. puwede daw drive without CR/OR..

that's with the MMDA, how about local TEs and HPG, and LTO enforcers?
i am assuming that it is allowed, but for me personally, the casa should act immediately on registering my new unit. its their responsibility. iwas hassle for the new vehicle owner. and unless it is an emergency, i would not use the unit muna, until such time the casa had it registered.
iba iba ang interpretation ng mga TEs dyan eh.... the one that you may have talked to could say na pwede, pero yan din ba ang pagkakaintindi ng mga TEs?

May 12th, 2016 03:59 PM #8Subaro said it takes 3 weeks (minimum) to register new car at LTO kasi they have cut-off for PNP clearance, etc. daw.. so the messenger need to follow schedule. I told them ako na lang mag register sa LTO.. hindi daw puwede. Ano number ng Highway Patrol Group? Meron ditto naka encounter na sila without CR/OR pa.. ano sabi nila (as well as local TEs)?

May 12th, 2016 09:18 PM #9Hi sir,
Thanks

May 13th, 2016 06:51 AM #10My dealer just told me lagay nila extension.. hindi ko pa nakuha car so don't know how the CSR look like.. I think CSR moves na transmit na sa LTO ang details ng car.. ask mo dealer mo about CSR.. how long mo na nagamit car? Wala pa enforcers nag flag sayo kahit wala ka plate?
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
