July 1st, 2009 09:18 PM #1btw i own a 97 accord
and its due for registration next month.
is there any way to have the MVUC reduced?
fyi MCUV for medium cars 97-2000 is 6k. very expensive.
can an appeal be submitted for review & reduction of such cost?
alot will benefit from this if ever....
i really find it unfair that medium cars between 97-2000 pay more for registration for those older & newer models.
hope we have someone from LTO in our forums to read this.
thanks

Malabo na sigurong mabago yan. Dyan kasi pumasok classification ng accord. Yung Pajero nga, which is more expensive than the accord, mas mura pa ang registration fee. Classified kasi as commercial vehicle ang Pajero.

I think it also connected with the engine displacement of the vehicle. The higher the displacement the higher of course is your annual motor registration.Like what boybi posted an Accord is considered as medium by the LTO so car owners should be willing to shelve a higher fee annually. hth.

hindi mababago basta basta yan. what you can do siguro is to write a letter to your congressman.... pero not sure kung pano gagalaw yan maski ganyan gawin mo.
