back to topic

kaya nga the best thing to do is run slower than 60kph. kasi sa speedometer mo, you're running at exactly 60kph, but form the mmda's speedguns, they're getting 61 -63kph, huli ka na, di ba? di mo pwedeng pagkatiwalaan yung nasa speedometer mo, kasi baka di naman kaparehas nito yung sa mmda.
kaya to play safe, go for the much lower speed. something like 55kph (langya....bagal nito!), in order not to be caught by the mmda.

Sa GMA mo ba napanood yung news? Ang pagkakaintindi ko dun is 65kph ang takbo nila nung unang pinindot ng enforcer yung trigger ng speed gun, then yun na yung nag register maski pa mag accelerate sila or mag decelerate. CMIIW though.
Tama si sir chua. Go for the much slower speed (kaso sobrang nakakabagot nga naman talaga).

You're right, ma'm, 60 kph is too slow for a road like that. They should at least up the limit for private vehicles and enforce that 60 at public vehicles. The bad thing is most PUVs are dilapidated and don't have working speedos. I even laughed when I saw in TV Patrol when they pulled over this jeepney for running above 60 and the driver said "paki ramdam ko naman mabagal ang takbo ko."
But I am pretty sure that it's just for the time being since the media is hot on MMDAs trail. Once the story cools down, it's back at their old ways. And if you would notice that once a bus gets pulled over, I think it's already customary, the conductor has to go down and talk with the enforcer while the driver is sitting pretty, then after a few minutes, they're off as if nothing happened and both of them have big smiles on their faces.
I would like to share this story. One time I rode a bus coz I went somewhere and didn't wanna bring a car. The driver was very reckless and I said to myself that I am 100% sure he will get pulled over once we reach Commonwealth. In East Ave., 3 MMDA women boarded the bus and sat near me and the conductor didn't ask for their fares but he said "pag pinara kami kayo ang bahala ha." and 3 worthless pieces of crap all replied "oo, kami bahala, wag kang mag alala." There. Since the driver was very reckless, my prediction was correct, he got pulled over just a few meters after St. Peter. Guess what the conductor did? He approached those 3 sh*thead MMDAs boarded in the bus and told them "kausapin niyo." It wasn't even a request, it was a command. Just a little "Oy, kami ito!" and a little hand gestures from the window, they let go of the bus. They were all very proud of what they did until I shouted "Kaya hindi umuunlad ang Pilipinas dahil sa mga bulok na katulad niyo!" They all got silent and went to the front seat of the bus which was like 7 seats far from me.
That's why this problem will never end. And once you've passed at those 2 croc infested overpasses, you are pretty good to up your speed again and just a little cautious one you've reached EVER and St. Peter areas. After Sandiganbayan, I doubt that those MMDA their have radar guns. Once you've reached Litex all the way to SM Fairview especially via Regalado Hiway, boy the avenue is already a race track again.

Super strict sila ngayon kasi nakatutok yung superiors nila and news media sa kanila. They have to prove to their bosses in the MMDA and to the public in general that the new traffic control scheme can be effective.
Personally, some of the u-turns should be closed to make the flow of traffic smoother and avoid vehicles suddenly changing lanes because they want to reach the u-turn slots. If not closed, the MMDA should relocate them so the traffic flow would be safer and smoother.

I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
