Replace the standard turbo with a bigger one, an intercooler and a remap.

This would make around 120-130+ hp.

1.031M for a Raize with 98 hp. Even after changing turbos and tuning the engine, you’d have spent more than 100k and still have less power than a Coolray or Territory.

The market who will buy the TOTL Raize isn’t the market to care about horsepower, otherwise they’ll go for other more powerful CUVs in the same price range.

People who buy cars like the Raize don't care about Horsepower anyway. They just want an A to B city car.

It will sell well as it is. A small SUV under P1M.

    i'm one such.
a car that will ferry me from point A to point B, in acceptable comfort, and at reasonable price.

For more people, the monthly fuel bills or the cost of an oil change matters much much much more than horsepower.

Those who care about horsepower are few and far in between. Most gen Z’s I know don’t even care for cars at all and would eschew car ownership unless necessary.

Car enthusiasts are a dying breed.

Maybe for those who want a bit more than just an A to B city car, enough to step up from a Wigo, Mirage or S-Presso.

But for people who need the ride height but not necessarily the space, this is a good cheaper alternative to the Rush.

cute, looks like a baby rav 4. I can't drive a 1.2 though, that's too slow. I wonder if that feels as slow as the Gen 1 Pajero na halos i floor ko na ang gas Diba big bikes nasa 1000 cc, this one is a car hehe

Wala naman problem sa 1.0L turbocharged 3-cylinder if it is properly tuned. As proven by Ford’s Fox engine which is more potent in terms of power and torque compared to a bigger 1.5L or 1.6L 4-cylinder NA gas engine.

In the case of the Raize, medyo pricey yung 1.0T model and the power output is not even impressive (more like Toyota’s 1.3L NA gas engine). If you want more power, just spend a bit more and get a Coolray which packs more than 170hp from its 1.5L 3-cylinder turbo gas engine.

The Raize 1.2L will surely be the best seller.
