August 21st, 2019 10:48 PM #501yes, you do, po!!!
repeat after me: "no, po. wala sa budget. next time na lang."
limit your pms to oil change and oil filter.
say no to any and all flushes, additives, treatments, care packages.
my thoughts on the engine air filter are controversial. bahala na yung ibang tsikoteers dito.
heh heh.
you can have your brakes and handbrake serviced in banawe, for a fraction of the cost, and with almost no queueing, if you time it right.
good luck.

October 10th, 2019 11:21 PM #505[QUOTE=innovation101;3115006]Just follow what is written in the owners manual. Kung wala sa schedule dun, then remove.
Which reminds me. 40k na yung mileage ng isang innova namin. I find no need to replace the fuel filter. Iilaw naman yan kung kailangan palitan

[QUOTE=innovation101;3115006]I’m replacing it at 40k. I’m now on 39+k.
My fuel filter warning light lit up several weeks ago. I was able to clear the warning and it never came back. I guess it was just a transient event. Replacing the fuel filter should only make things better, not worse.

October 30th, 2019 01:15 PM #508Hi all can you recommend an affordable and reliable toyota dealer around metro manila? Quezon avenue branch charges a lot for maintenance. Im getting an average P15k for 10Km and 20Km. Included is fully synthetic oil, oil filter, checkup fee, tune up fee, brakes, and engine wash (P800+).

October 30th, 2019 11:55 PM #510sirko is right.
"just the essentials."
the owner's manual lists down the essentials.
if it ain't in that list, respectfully decline the product or procedure. "next time na lang. wala sa budget, e." no one can argue with that.
diesel?
i have them do only the oil change and oil filter change.
mineral oil lang, not synthetic.
i have oil change every 5000 km, naman kasi.
my bill doesn't go beyond 5000 kesos.
and when the warranty ran out, sa gas station nako nagpapa-change oil. 2500 kesos lang. no waiting pa. everything finished in less than an hour.
Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
