    I’m replacing it at 40k. I’m now on 39+k.

My fuel filter warning light lit up several weeks ago. I was able to clear the warning and it never came back. I guess it was just a transient event. Replacing the fuel filter should only make things better, not worse.

Hi all can you recommend an affordable and reliable toyota dealer around metro manila? Quezon avenue branch charges a lot for maintenance. Im getting an average P15k for 10Km and 20Km. Included is fully synthetic oil, oil filter, checkup fee, tune up fee, brakes, and engine wash (P800+).

Go to any casa. Remove non essentials and optionals.

Read the owner's manual. Them holduppers a.k.a. service advisors exploit those who do not read the preventive maintenance schedule written in the good book

    sirko is right.
    "just the essentials."
the owner's manual lists down the essentials.
if it ain't in that list, respectfully decline the product or procedure. "next time na lang. wala sa budget, e." no one can argue with that.

    diesel?
i have them do only the oil change and oil filter change.
    mineral oil lang, not synthetic.
i have oil change every 5000 km, naman kasi.
my bill doesn't go beyond 5000 kesos.

and when the warranty ran out, sa gas station nako nagpapa-change oil. 2500 kesos lang. no waiting pa. everything finished in less than an hour.

our Oil burner Innova, lagi sinasabi ng Service advisor that we need to decarbon the car every 5k or 10k daw kasi kung hinde mag low power daw yun makina at masisira yun turbo.

it doesnt comes cheap ha. nasa 3500 ata or 4500 if i remember it correctly. we had did it on 20k then after that wala na. lagi sinasabi ng SA na need daw de carbon to clean the engine daw. when we do the decarbon at 20k mark mabaho pa din naman amoy ng tambutso.... haha

my oil burner has over 130K km on the odometer.
i haven't yet availed of any non-basic maneuver or product that the casa offered.
    it runs fine, still.
