I saw the whole process 2 hours is impossible as everything have to be taken down and cleaning process also takes time. Mind you this is the first time that I have it cleaned so its really dirty.

Last saturday I went to the car shop to have the usual pms change oil etc.... I include the wheel alignment but upon checking they did not allow to do the alignment because there is a very slight movement on my wheel and I need to replaced the upper ball joint (but I already replaced my upper ball joint just 2yrs ago) I don't know if the shop just want to get more money from me or whatever.

we can usually see for ourselves, if there is indeed some movement.
we can shake the wheels ourselves, comparing left versus right, if we wish to.

i do not think it's a money-generating scheme for them, as we can always defer the alignment and bring the car to another place, for second opinion... their loss.

yes, i do the shaking while my car is still jacked up in the alignment shop.
"ser, may laro na po. heto, tingnan nyo."
i try to have a pair of throw-away nitrile gloves in the car. mura lang isang box. no significant expiration period.

it is gratifying to see the heft of these ball joints.
but i am curious, why yours seem to have deteriorated so fast...
ours was factory, 'way back in 2005, and replaced only last year, after the 140K odometer reading...
