Congratulations on your new Hiace, sir. Palitan mo ng better rims and tires para mas gumwapo and balanced ang ichura.

Anything that is done outside the dealership will void the warranty. Kung hindi ka naman particular doon and sa tingin mo magaling ung gagawa, then just have it installed outside. Ang downside nga lang is kunwari may maapektuhan dahil sa pag install mo ng alarm & sensor and masira, you can not claim it via warranty anymore kasi void na.

Walang other way para makamura that will not void the warranty unless makakuha ka ng malaking discount sa dealer na ka price sa labas, then good but I doubt that will happen.

Scanned the manual and there was no mention of user serviceable overhead aircon intake filter. You guys may be correct, the 2007 vent s possibly different from the 2014 model.

Just found online a pic of the 2014 SG aircon intake vent, iba nga compared to the 2007. Makapal yung sa 2014 and flat yung sa 2007.

Mejo Pricey kasi sa casa kkapachange oil ko lng fully syn cnuggest sken at painstall s knila ng reverse sensor at alarm. Anyway, should I keep the tires and just look for 15" mags, or what? At ung shop po n reliable ha at quality. Maraming Salamat po.

Hi guys, we just bought our GL Grandia last Dec 24, as of now we have changed the rims to Fortuner ash gray 17 inch with 215 55 tires (ride comfort is much better than those steelies), then installed foglights, entertainment system 6 headrest monitors and 2 din pioneer headunit. As of now satisfied na kame on how it looks.

Questions, since we bought a foglights, it comes with h16 na bulbs and it rates on 19 watts only. Can we changed it to HID na to a 35 watts? What to upgrade?

Second, may mabibilhan ba dito ng auto door closer/opener?

    Thanks

*Jason Tan: I took a pic of our SG way back and good thing I haven't deleted it from my phone. Here is an actual pic of our unit.

Yes, the area where those intake vents are placed is thick. And those 2 plastic grilles, all you need to do is push them and they will pop out.

*vidsidpo: I am not sure where is the best shop to have your rims changed pero madami namang rims/tires shop sa Banawe, mag scout ka nalang doon, sir, for best deals. Or try to read in Mags, Rims and Wheels section of Tsikot.

I have seen GL Grandia wearing Fort rims. Gwapo and nagiging macho ang look. Some are wearing thicker tires but I don't know the brand. Basta lang mapalitan ung hubcaps and steel rims.

As to your query on the foglights, try to go to the Car Lights and Lamps Talk section. Madaming topic doon on HID foglights.

And to the auto door closer/opener, mabigat na trabaho yan. Sa SG nga auto easy closer doors lang ang meron, how much more if you are going to make it auto door closer/opener. Sadly, I don't know anybody who does that or where to buy the mechanism for that.
