April 13th, 2003 01:43 AM #1I know that the corolla Gli's gas consumption in city driving is about 7.5 km/L. Anybody here who knows the gas consumption of a 1.6 and 1.8 altis ?

April 13th, 2003 04:02 PM #3i think mga nsa ganun din ang gas consumption ng 1.8 altis 7.5-8.5kms/liter(city)
10.5-11kms/liter(long)..& kung hindi nman masyado mahilig humataw ung may ari i think ung 1.8 matipid kse it has VVT-i na eh..so fuel efficient din..like the VTEC.. :D

Corollas, including the Altis, are known to be one of the most fuel efficient cars in their class. The U.S. version of the Altis, a 1.8-liter M/T, yielded a class-leading 32 mpg for city driving and 40 on the highway. The 1.6 we have should do better.
Lastly, manuals tend to be more efficient than automatics, because their transmissions are less complicated and lighter. However, there are rare cases that automatics are more efficient, but fuel economy lies mostly on how you drive.

yun nga lang, in manila conditions, we will never get anywhere close to 32 mpg...

April 14th, 2003 02:00 PM #10tama! :D hehe pero..actually depende nman sa nag mamaneho yan eh.. kung mabigat ang right foot niya definetly malakas tlga gas consumption..
It's about 1 cm longer than the 3SM and about 4 cm longer than the DIN74. And it's also in the 10k...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
