Wala namang damage sa engine kung 91 RON ang gagamitin since the computer detects the 91 RON fuel and it will adjust accordingly. Pero since 93 RON ang minimum required, fuel consumption will be negatively affected. Pero kung may knocking, switch to a higher octane rating.

The manual clearly states RON 91. See page 216 and 489. I don't know where you got 93.

So there's no impact in terms of knocking or fuel consumption. I've had the car for 25,000 km and 91 or 95 doesn't matter when it comes to consumption.

Sana wag nagkakalat ng maling info. Is it so hard to open your manual and verify.

No 93 in Shell. Either FuelSave 91 or V-Power Nitro+ 95.

In any case, I repeat, YOU CAN USE RON 91 ON YOUR ALTIS WITHOUT ANY ADVERSE EFFECTS. [emoji5]

My apologies for not indicating that I was't referring to a particular vehicle, the Altis in this case.
I was referring to any vehicle that requires a particular minimum RON but instead uses a fuel with octane rating below the required minimum.

Sorry about that bro jut, baka namali tingin ko kasi i was referring sa online toyota owners manual corolla thru ssl. Anyway, good to know na octane 91 talaga tayo, will read now ung mismong manual ko sa kotse lol. By the way, kung gagamit ba ng racing/blaze? May effect ba ito sa performance? Regardless consumption [emoji51]
