It's not exactly better than the Altis, just cheaper. The Altis drives better, looks better, has more verve in its engine, will have much better resale value and out-of-casa parts availability, with a more revered brand, and of course, it doesn't have an awkward name.

Of course, price is a very big factor - you can get a Sylphy 1.8V for the price of an Altis 1.6G, and between the two, the TOTL Sylphy offers better value for money.

At the end of the day though, follow your heart. Your decision will not always be entirely objective, but that's fine. What's important is you get the car that'd make you happy.

Yes sir, Altis really is my first choice, 2nd option lang Nissan Sylphy since marami ako naririnig na good feedback dito sa feedback regarding it, pero mas kursunada ko talaga Altis from the start.. Since it's a long term commitment, better to avail yung talagang gusto ko. Kaya Altis na hehehe, Di na kinaya ng budget ang Altis G so Altis E na lang ang kukunin ko.. 240k DP All in 13k+ monthly for 60 months, is that a good deal na? Thank you..

Does that deal already include insurance? It's a bit high with a 27% interest over 5 years (12% p.a.) if it doesn't have insurance yet. Usually people get their interest at around the 25% range. Maybe you can try scouting other banks for better rates, and haggle for a discount with different Toyota dealers.

I don't normally suggest exceeding your planned budget, but the G is really a better buy than the E for only 43k more. You get the ff:

    - automatic climate control
    - different gauge cluster (with a more sophisticated MID and an actual temp gauge)
    - fog lamps
    - keyless entry
    - 60/40 folding rear seats
    - beige interior (classier, though the grey interior of the E looks easier to maintain)
    - steering wheel audio controls
    - leather steering wheel
    - leather shift knob
    - variable-intermittent wipers
    - rear armrest with cupholders

Most of those things aren't available as aftermarket upgrades. Of course, if your budget really doesn't permit, the 1.6E is fine as well. Still a better car than the Sylphy 1.6 MT, but of course the Sylphy is cheaper.

Thank you sir sa advise, included na free 1 year insurance dun sa 240k DP and 13.5k monthly, all in po.. Ok na ba yun? Gusto ko din talaga sana G kaso di na talaga kaya budget, makakakuha siguro ako ng G 16k ang monthly amort, kaya naman, pero sobrang magbabago ang lifestyle which is not good.

If you will be satisfied with the E variant, then its okay. To be honest, E is also may first choice of variant but decided to buy the G instead because of the added accessories. One of the main reason I bought the G variant is because of the keyless entry. Tamad kasi akong magpakabit sa labas and mavvoid kasi ang warranty. Unless sa Toyota ka rin magpapalagay.

Question lang mga boss. Medyo napapnsin ko kasi na dumadami yung chipped paint sa hood. I usually drive in slex so di talaga maiiwasan yung bato na tumatalsik kung saan saan. Paano nyo inaayos yun? The agony of owning a black car. hehe

    Yeah I don't like that

I think the paint off the gen 11 chips off easily. The front bumper of my car looks horrible. I'm having it repainted by the casa next month probably (pasok ko sa insurance). Toyota Bicutan noticed it too na pangit na bumper, sumayad pa, kaya nakayod

An Altis 1.6G MT only costs 43k more than the E. Even if you consider the interest of 25%, that'll just be an extra 900 pesos per month over 60 months. So if you're gonna pay 13.5k monthly with the E, then the G should just be a little over 14k.

Have you double checked your computations and compared with different banks?
