I was browsing around Toyota Indonesia's page until I saw this new model. It looks like they are just introducing it there (in Indonesia).

Judging by its specs and engine displacement, this is targetting the same crowd as the Avanza. The pics show that it is only capable of two rows of passengers.

I compared its specs to the Avanza's, thinking that the Rush must be based on the Avanza due to many visual similarities bet. the two, but things turned out differently. The Rush is at least two-digit millimeters bigger than the Avanza in most aspect (ie. wheelbase ,etc..)

The Rush looks like an interesting vehicle which I would pick over the Avanza, given Toyota can manage to price it accordingly. But I already so many overlaps in Toyota's product line. For example, the Avanza 1.5 is already well within the Innova J's price territoty and if Toyota brings the Rush in, I could just imagine even more pricing overlaps.
