How much inabot yung upgrade ng wheels and stepboard nyo? Thinking of getting the E din since it is cheaper. Di pako nak quote ng casa upgrade sa wheels and additional stepboard.

My rims and tires cost me 46K net (i traded my stock rims and tires at a giveaway price of 8K). On OLX, you can find rims and tires from the G Hilux for 35-45K. You can also get a set from an FJ cruiser or the new Fortuner.

Stepboard i got for 5K from olx (used from a previous gen hilux). It's almost bolt-on save modifying the center mount.

Yeah, i got so much BS from a lot of shops on drilling and mounting the sensors; kesyo bakal daw. I bought a standard sensor set for P800 in Banawe and had Jemson install it; no questions asked. Atoy transferred it to my rear bumpers (they installed it on the plastic portion) when we installed the OEM rear bumpers i got (cost 9K).

Yep, even with brand new cars, we never hesitate to have minor accessories and modifications installed outside of the CASA. So long as you have a guy who knows what he's doing there's no issue really. I'm more careful with mechanical/major components (ECU, drivetrain, engine modifications).

I saw an E unit in Pampanga over the weekend with aftermarket flares (bushwhacker type though, not much a fan of that). I wanted to turn around and ask the guy where he had it fabricated but i will start searching.

Atoy sells the ready made ones for the G and i'd expect they'll quote around 20K for a fabricated set to fit the E.

imo, kung target mo on electronics, and pasok sa budget mo, go for 4x2 G. wala ka na problemahin.
kasi andun na mga iuupgrade mo sa E, like rear bumper, stepboard, alloy wheels.

oem stepboard +- 10,000 sa labas
oem rearbumper +- 15,000 sa labas
oem alloy wheels only +- 20,000 sa labas
oem alloy wheels w/tires +- 40,000 sa labas (swap E rims and tires +cash)

yan ang estimate budget mo, based on online prices na nakita ko.

Plano ko sana sir upgrade na sa casa agad. So ibig sabihin neto, yung upgrade to rims and tyres ng G eh mas mahal pa din sa casa kahit may trade sa old rims? Sa electronics naman yung security system lang habol ko add.

be patient lang sa paghanap. wag sa casa. you will save a lot pag sa labas ka kumuha. i got my G rims with 90% tires for 22k only. i saw sa olx may 12k for the rims only. seller is from QC. marami jan gusto magpalit ng stock rims. they can afford black rhinos. just wait for the right seller.

The CASA will not void the warranty to your engine if you placed a stepboard or put different tires; change your turbo though and you suffer a blown engine then that's where they void the warranty.
