May 26th, 2018 02:31 AM #1181Hello Everyone,
Would you know if Toyota Hilux Conquest 2.4 is Euro 4 compliant? In addition, do you know if it has a DPF system installed? I am hearing some bad reviews of Toyota Hilux DPF failure in Australia. I am not sure if the Toyota Hilux we have in the Philippines is also affected. Thanks for your answer!

It seems Australia has that issue with DPF, regardless of the brand. I was looking for Mazda back then and there was that problem. Anyways, the solution for this thing is to have a long continuous drive for about an hour.
Regarding Euro 4, I believe all are already compliant except for those "newly phased out" vehicles.

It should be a long and continuous drive at a minimum of 60 kph speed ...

May 26th, 2018 12:44 PM #1184Right... long and continuous drive... I just don't understand as to why AU has this plague when they should have no issues whatsoever when it comes to open spaces and long highways...
And by the looks of it, Toyota Hilux in the PH appears to be using an SCR system with DPF installed...
Am currently waiting for my 2.4 Toyota Hilux Conquest and am not sure if I made the right choice..

May 29th, 2018 11:26 AM #1190kagagaling ko Metro Manila last weekend and passed thru Edsa. grabe naman kalsasa dun. masahol pa sa dirt road. the Hilux suspension is sh!* sa mga ganung kalsada. i use my hilux hauling feeds and pigs so i need the toughness but masakit ung tagtag nya lalo na sa long drive and rough pavements so I need to replace it with ung kasing tough ng stock pero at least naman maging comfortable kunti ung ride. is someone using the aztec suspension here? okay po ba sya? any recommendations mga sirs? i'm a farmer so ung cheap or almost cheap po. =)
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
