It's normal. I only paid attention to it when you mentioned it. Not an ish for me with a car like the Hilux. If it was a Camry, LC or eurocar, then i would put that as minus points.
good to hear that sir vinj. it still annoys me a little but after knowing that its normal, I can now live with the "click".
I pointed this out to the service advisor at the casa. Sabi nila it is normal daw. Even the fortuner and the previous gen hilux have this noise daw.

I like the flare of the fort. It makes the wheel well look bigger. Am looking for a fender that will really fit the E variant. Sabi nila that the flares for G will not fit the E, kaya im making it sure that if i buy one, talagang swak for the E.
I also like the understated flares on the Fortuner. Let's keep each other posted on the search for flares that will fit the E. I think it will really boil down to having a set fabricated however i have not had a chance to really look for a shop to do the work.

Probably the reason why i never noticed it; It's most likely present on the other cars we have/had. :D

noob question without having to measure first hehe let them do the measuring

if only may mag mass produce ng ganyan sa fortuner, magandang option yan for E and J.
or magpa sadya sa mga nag bbodykits.

Already made up my mind to get the Hilux. Just thinking whether to get the 4 x 2 G or E. Medyo malaki din difference sa price. How much would it cost to upgrade sa same wheels ng 4 x 2 G, add the rear bumper, and side steps. This would be my first pick up truck. Tempting kunin yung G because of the electronics inside the cabin, lalo na yung steering wheel remote for the stereo. Still thinking if its worth it. Any advice?

At 1.030M, it undercuts the Ranger XLT (by almost 200k!) and Navara EL. It looks really ugly when stock because of the steel rims, black trim, and lack of a rear bumper. But get it in dark grey, add 20" rims and a rear bumper, and it's a great buy all of a sudden.

Even with all those upgrades, the E won't even reach 1.1M.

The E already has keyless entry, dual airbags, ABS, steering wheel audio controls, Bluetooth and fog lamps as standard. But the biggest advantage of the Hilux over everyone else is that it's a Hilux - generations of proven durability and a new 2.4L engine that's very smooth, with very little turbo lag.
What would be the average cost for the upgrade OEM stuff? I plan to upgrade it sa casa. Get the bumper, step boards, 17" rims. May steering wheel audio control na sya?

7.9K is good considering it's for a 10K interval already.

    Sir,

How much inabot yung upgrade ng wheels and stepboard nyo? Thinking of getting the E din since it is cheaper. Di pako nak quote ng casa upgrade sa wheels and additional stepboard.

    Thanks

imo, kung target mo on electronics, and pasok sa budget mo, go for 4x2 G. wala ka na problemahin.

oem alloy wheels only +- 20,000 sa labas
oem alloy wheels w/tires +- 40,000 sa labas (swap E rims and tires +cash)

Whats the difference ba talaga from G and E?
