Magkano kaya ito locally? If this is between 1.2M to 1.5M, it will surely beat the competition.

Ganda ng itsura ng Corolla Sport. This will likely outsell the XV and HRV at the 1.3-1.5M price range.
There's quite a big gap between the 1M Rush and the 1.7M RAV4 so this fills that spot nicely.
Hopefully it comes with the 1.8L engine since the 1.6L 3ZR FE is barely adequate for the lighter Altis. Pag Hybrid naman dinala dito it'll be at ~1.8-1.9M.

July 9th, 2020 01:30 PM #44If at 1.2m php, I'd recommend they (Toyota PH) discontinue the TOTL Rush if they are going to push this model as a base model positioning, to limit analysis paralysis. Since it will be a "smaller" Rav4, the TOTL should fall below or just around the "base model " Rav 4 they are selling at 1.7m php.

Unlikely to be just 1.2M, even if base model.
And the Rush caters to a different market - walang pake sa refinement mga buyers niyan. Basta mataas, 7 seater, may touchscreen, ok na yan sa kanila. And Rush G is still 100k cheaper at 1.1M.
So likely the Cross will compete head on with the HRV/XV at 1.3M for the base model and 1.5M for the TOTL gas model (1.8-2M if they bring in a Hybrid TOTL).

Thai price of the base non-hybrid Corolla Cross Sport 1.8 CVT is 959,000 Baht
Thai price of the Corolla Altis 1.6G CVT is 879,000 Baht (sold here for ₱1,115,000).
*Note there is no base M/T Corolla Altis listed in Thailand.
I guess P1.2M+ is a good estimate as a starting price for the base CVT variant.
The only other Corolla Cross variants in Thailand are hybrids and based on how the Corolla Altis Hybrid is priced, it won't be cheap.Last edited by AG4; July 9th, 2020 at 01:54 PM.

Should have just named it differently.
A Corolla will always be a sedan for me.

Mukhang kasya ang balikbayan box..
Mataas din ang location ng alternator. Wading depth will be pretty good. 500mm?

Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
