Bro ganyan talaga rpm ng Vios at that speed. You can't change that. 100 kph is at 2600 rpm, 120 is over 3000 rpm, and so on. Remember, it's only a 4-speed auto - no overly long 5th gear to keep the revs low in highway driving.
Besides, there's absolutely nothing wrong if the car's at 3000 rpm when traveling at 120 kph - matipid pa rin naman Vios sa highway. I travel hundreds of kilometers on NLEX and SCTEX with my Vios on a weekly basis, and usually at speeds of around 100-140 kph, and I still get around 15 km/L. Stick to 80-100 and you'll get about 17-18 km/L.
Stick strictly to 80 kph and you'll probably get over 20 km/L (this I haven't tried because 80 is way too slow and boring for me).
