June 23rd, 2023 01:31 PM #141Introductory price. They will most likely increase it in a month or two.
Toyota is always keen to have price increases at least once a year for every model. for some model twice or thrice. some with corresponding additional equipment or color variation while other increase are just that.

There's a display unit at festival mall. May lalagyan ng drinks sa Center ng 2nd row kaya 2 lang pede sakay. Yung pinto sa likod eh automatic open and close, it's beeping while it's opening or closing.
Yung seat sa 2nd row parang recliner seat. Mahihiga mo yung sandalan at may salo sa binti na matataas mo.

June 27th, 2023 03:11 PM #149222 Toyota Hilux GR Sport Brings Rally-Inspired Goodies to Europe's Truck Segment - autoevolution
At the second to the last paragraph
"Power comes from the same 2.8-liter engine that was introduced in the Hilux in 2020. Working in concert with a six-speed automatic transmission, it produces 204 ps (201 hp / 150 kW) and 500 Nm (369 lb-ft) of torque, giving it a payload of 1 ton (2,205 lbs), and braked towing capacity of up to 3.5 tons (7,716 lbs)."
The Nissan Navara, Ford Ranger are also advertised to carry 1ton payload on its bed as far as I am aware.
for a 2.4Diesel Innova, Kerb Weight is 1800~1855kgs, GVW is 2400~2480kgs (depending on trim) based on the site since Toyota PH doesn't provide it in their brochures.
Toyota Innova Crysta Specifications |ET Auto
Weight difference of about 600-650kgs.
That's why I am just on the impression that the ladder frame is rated for 1 ton payload as it shares the IMV platform for Hilux, Fortuner and Innova previously. Of course that doesn't account for the weight of the third row added onto the frame.
EDIT: I came across a website that does mention Hilux having a max payload of only 470kgs but other sites mention around 900~1000kgs payload capacity.
In addition, found an old review from CG for 2014 2.5 Dsl Innova
https://www.car guide.ph/2014/07/review-2014-toyota-innova-25-v.html
Curb Weight used to only be around 1670kgs, or it was about 200kgs lighter before using the same platform. No idea about the GVW for the same model though. Couldn't find it in the same article.

June 27th, 2023 03:54 PM #150Very little info has been published about the hybrid drive train of the Zenix. From the wiki page the Zenix apparently has NiMH batteries instead of Lithium. A bit disappointing but it is fit for the purpose. The choice of NiMH most likely driven by the need to keep the cost of the vehicle within a target range.
Blue-labeled Motolite Gold are factory-supplied OEM batteries with only 1 year warranty.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
