April 14th, 2023 02:49 PM #131OT: Sa pagkakaalam ko, March at July yung mga malalaking discounts ng mga dealer.
Magkano discount ngayon ng Montero?
Also, may discount na ba binibigay sa Fortuner ngayon?

August 8th, 2023 10:38 AM #132Casa still puts API-CI 15W-40 for the 1GD even if the manual states 5W-30 or 10W-30, walang 40 weight oil.
A site saya na Euro 4 1GDs can also take 15W-40 though
Our fleet uses 15W-40 the most and 5W-40 FS at times, so if I can also use them mas better. Fuel efficiency lang siguro ang mag hit compared to thinner oils pero supposed to be better protection.
Should I continue using 5W/15W-40 on this when warranty expires?

Would it work in the Philippines? What to expect from the Toyota Fortuner mild-hybrid | Autofun
Reports have indicated that the Fortuner hybrid will still use its 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine, but will be combined with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It won't be considered a full-hybrid vehicle, unlike the Toyota Corolla Cross and Toyota Yaris Cross. The hybrid system in the next-generation Toyota Fortuner is expected to consist of three main components.
The first is an integrated generator that replaces the conventional alternator, the second is a 48-volt battery and the third is a DC-to-DC converter.
According to Toyota, the new mild-hybrid system will increase the torque figures of the 2.8-liter diesel engine, while giving it better and smoother off-the-line acceleration in stop-and-go situations. The Japanese automaker has announced that the South African and Australian markets will be getting the new technology first, but will later be available in other countries.

There's a lot of room. You can still fit half a battery, I think. The battery isn't the highest...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
