technically it has (same as the Rush) kaso welded to the body

November 12th, 2021 01:23 PM #7Avanza is unibody since introduction. The drivetrain layout only has changed from longitudinal engine RWD to a transverse engine FWD.
Here's the Daihatsu sibling, the Xenia. If Daihatsu is making a comeback to PH they should bring this too.

here's the avanza's u-shaped frame supports welded to the body to provide add'l strength where it's needed. the engine and suspension are bolted to them.
this is typical of monocoque cars. a honda city is built pretty much the same.
to say that a car has a ladder frame... it simply has to have one. i.e. a robust frame independent of the body
The 12-month warranty on the factory battery ended a few days ago. SOH is still good at over 90%,...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
