Nope. It will never fold away unless they falsely raise the cargo floor ala montero sport. The cargo floor is high enough as the second fuel tank on import models reside under the cargo area along with the spare tire po. Very few cars today come with a main and sub tank.

October 17th, 2012 06:56 AM #48Hi guys,
im just trying to help out a friend. he said his family bought a fully loaded grey market LC200 diesel for around 4.3m. he wasnt able to tell me if it was a GX-R or VX-R. he said he is a bit disappointed that it cost 100k more than the dealer and the power is just the same (i think 232hp?). do you think he got a bad price for it? or is it fair? he said it had a lot of features (bodykit, gadgets inside etc).
was it a wise decision to go grey market on the unit? or was it better to wait for a unit from the dealer? was the price fair?
i was not able to canvass the price for him since im here in the states.

October 20th, 2012 10:58 AM #50thanks for the quick reply. he just confirmed that they got the 2013 GX-R diesel. i researched the specs online and its suppose to have the new 282hp 650nm v8 diesel which is the same as the local one na. interior wise , i wasnt really blown away compared to the higher VXTD model which has the black interior with the better entertainment system.
as far as i can see the only difference from the 2013 local and the grey market is the following.
1. rims
2. bodykit
3. side sticker
thats pretty much it. anything else i forgot the mention?
Otoh, the 2nd gen mu-x slightly looks like a mazda up front and some interior bits as well but oto...
