    Don't feed the troll

Nag-reminisce si missis dahil sa old PNR sya sumasakay from FTI to Manila for school. Layo daw ng diff in terms of time spent traveling. Scary nga lang daw minsan. We'll give it a try one of these days

proud to say it's MODERN. But I who finished a degree that is
within the scope of engineering marvels and construction, referring to
the PNR as MODERN (as Mike 'Tol' boasted to the media) is a shame.
Metro Manila being the main capital of our country should have a (new)
railway that is advance and state-of-the-art. Are you familiar of the
maglevs? In terms of creating new infrastructure projects, our
government is quite pathetic- tayoto- (moving backward!). IMHO

With all due respect, at least we are getting somewhere right???

Do you really know how much it would cost to build a maglev line???? Especially that you have an engineering degree???????????

Dapat maraming tumangkilik dito para maging viable ang option na ito at dumami pa ang ganitong mga solusyon.... Also, infrastructures, like secured, accessible and well-lighted terminals in the outskirts of the Metro should be constructed to encourage people to just leave their cars there and ride the train....

The old and new trains of the PNR..

This Diesel Locomotive will be refurbished by PNR train mechanical engineers in cooperation with GE locomotive of the United States.

Similar refurbished diesel locos are still used in Australia and New Zealand. Rail experts say this type of locos are relatively young and still very serviceable.
