Per information from a bubwit who is currently in Tutuban, there are two Naga-bound trains today: The regular T-611 (917) which will depart in 1830H and the special PS-01 (call sign: Prestige) Peñafrancia Festival which will depart in 2100H.

PS-01 train configuration: 921 (Lead loco) + Sleeper + Sleeper + Executive Sleeper + Dining Car + 922 (Assisting Loco)

Nakaka-awa ang Pinas at nakakainis ang gobyerno. Panahon pa yata ng hapon yung PS-01 na tren. Nirepair lang yata para magamit uli.

ang alam ko yung "bago" nilang tren ay galing sa Japan Railways. hindi brand new pero mas bago kesa dun sa super lumang tren ng PNR.

pero yung nasa picture eh mukang kalawangin na nga hehehe

ang tsismis recently eh gagawing dalawang magkatabing riles na kahit sa probinsya. sana magkatotoo ito kasi mas magiging flexible ang schedule ng tren.

^^ Bagong luma naman yung mga Sleeper coaches. Pero kahit almost 20 years old na mga yan, maganda pa kondisyon gawa alam mo naman ang mga Hapon. Functioning pa lahat ng systems nila (hot/cold faucet, water dipenser, flush, etc.).

Pero dahil andito na sila sa Pinas, I won't be surprised if less than five years giba na din ang mga yan.

Ang kailangan ng PNR ay mas bago at modernong locomotives.
