September 2nd, 2018 08:34 PM #1245The car is still made in Hungary. One hint i can see is the battery is varta brand. And i read local reviewer says that some parts in the engine bay are made by Bosch. the head unit of gl and glp vitara is locally installed. Im guessing winterpine source

September 2nd, 2018 08:49 PM #1247Hi,
I am just a commoner with not much knowledge with cars. I just want to ask if vitara gl+ would be fit for those who lived on unpaved roads with muddy roads when it rains. Thanks in advance!

Depends on how real the mud is. Any amount of real mud and you will be better off with the old model, the grand vitara 4x4. Or a new jimny. And equipped with the proper A/T or M/T tires. Even the best 4x4s won't make it if shod with HT tires. But if by "muddy" you mean just dirty water kaya naman yan.
