August 28th, 2018 08:55 PM #1202Hmm. . . having second thoughts about buying my wife a Vitara suddenly. Was planning to arrange the bank loan papers this week. Any other issues with Suzuki's PMS? Can they legally void your warranty even if the official manual contradicts what the casa insists should be the service interval?

When we had our 2005 Suzuki APV back then, we did not have issues with warranty claims even though we did not follow the service intervals as stated on the manual. We bought the unit because we simply liked it. We kept it for 12 years. Served us well. Mas sirain pa nga yun Toyota Liteace namin na in my opinion, gave Toyota a really bad rep . . .
If some guys are making a lot of scam issues about Suzuki's PMS, let them cry it out if they will sleep better at night. At least Suzuki AFAIK, is not endorsing X1R and a line up of fuel additives on their PMS . . . that's the real scam for me haha!

X1R: something you don't need but if you'll jump through some hoops they'll remove it
Suzuki-PH's 3x-a-year PMS: something you don't need but if you'll jump through some hoops they'll remove it
same type of scamit's really no big deal. i simply voted w/ my money and didn't buy a suzuki. but it's DISHONEST to not call a spade a spade
no wonder pinoys always get the short end of the stick when it comes to PMS policies coz people don't seem to understand what a scam is

August 29th, 2018 03:22 AM #1210just talk to them.
semi-annual check-ups are just right.
first 1k pms, i just let them inspect the car. manual states.
paid 150.
bought the car end of february this year.
casa scheduled the next pms before the end of june.
waited for their call as i went beyond the shedule.
after a few discussions, agreed to bring the car before the end of august.
was able to follow the correct interval.
still, the odo clocks in at 3800.
the car is still under warranty.
they are reasonable enough to understand your concern. you just have to talk to them.
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
