Help po: Wheel alignment? & Wheel Balancing?

Help naman po: What is the difference of Wheel alignment from Wheel balancing? Saka po, kelan ba dapat mag-pa wheel-align & mag-pa wheel-balance ? ........thanks in advance, I hope marami po akong matutunan sa mga replies.....

Wheel alignment and Wheel Balancing are two totally different things, but many people often get them confused.

In a nutshell, wheel alignment consists of adjusting the angles of the wheels so that they are perpendicular to the ground and parallel to each other. The purpose of these adjustments is maximum tire life and a vehicle that tracks straight and true when driving along a straight and level road.

Wheel Balancing, on the other hand allows the tires and wheels to spin without causing any vibrations. This is accomplished by checking for any heavy spots on the wheel-tire combination and compensating for it by placing a measured lead weight on the opposite site of the wheel from where the heavy spot is.

Importante ito and it costs less.

I've just availed these computerized services just last week When
we bought tires. Dati kasi snob ko lang ito. Hindi pa sana napudpod
yung gulong namin kung dati pa kami nagpa-align. Hindi rin kasi
nag-suggest yung mekaniko namin na i-avail yun.

Matagal na kasing may kabig yung sasakyan akala ko dahil sa maling
pag-install lang ng suspension. Kaya pag liliko na or pa-U turn may tunog
parang sumasayad yung gulong at yun na nga yun pala.

650 lang gastos ko sa alignment kasama na kasi yung balancing kapag bumili ka ng gulong sa Goodyear sa Araneta ave. Yung malapit sa SM.
Mabait pa yung mekaniko doon medyo naka-kwentuhan ko. Ayos na yung takbo ng sasakyan.

Assurance nga pala yung binili kong tires. Yun na kasi yung latest nila.
I don't know kung may bad reports about this tires. I tried it anyways.

Hindi po ito advertisement ha, first time ko lang din doon nagpunta.
Natuwa lang ako kasi OK naman yung service and galing nun alignment and
balancing. I was there the whole time pinapanood lahat kahit pinapa-upo ako nun manager yata. Inirapan pa ko - eh gusto kong manood eh bakit
ba? hehe. Buti maayos kausap mga mekaniko doon. Di ko lang nakuha
pangalan nya.

kapag camber alignment, kasama na ba dapat wheel alignment???

i recently had a camber alignment, nakita ko naman na pasok sa tolerance yung result (+0.2), kaso ngayon grabe na wiggle ng front driver side na gulong.

before sabi palit bushing daw yung rack and pinion. nasa magkano kaya ito including labor?

btw car is a 1989 nissan maxima
