January 6th, 2025 12:52 PM #11) Where can I source small and big bushings for my car? And what do I need to be looking for? They are due for replacement as advised by some mechanics before.
2) I had the yellow low oil level (not the red low oil pressure) dashboard icon light up two weeks ago and when I check the dip stick, the oil level is still around 25% from the bottom dot. I still topped up with around 500mL bringing the oil level to around 80% from the bottom dot and the icon eventually went away. Does this point to a broken oil level sensor? I was under the assumption that if that icon lights up, that means the oil level is below the bottom dot already or am I wrong on that?
Thanks.

1. Seiwa on Banawe, probably
2. Appears to be working fine. Best to check your manual for the specifics but from what I've read... YELLOW indicates low oil level. RED indicates low oil pressure.
Subarus are generally notorious for consuming oil. It's best that you keep an eye on the oil level.Last edited by oj88; January 6th, 2025 at 06:34 PM.

January 7th, 2025 03:00 AM #4Can't find "Subaru Club Market" in Shopee. I see Seiwa and Lance Autoshop there.
Let me ask Seiwa on Lazada/Shopee. Are there only one kind of small and one kind of big bushings for the XV? No front and rears? Sorry, I'm not a car guy.
As for the oil, so you're saying that the low oil level indicator just means that it's "about" to reach the min of the dip stick? I'm confused because people my Google searches say that that should indicate that the oil is "below min" already.

TBH , it's moot to argue when the yellow warning light should pop up. If the oil level is near, at, or below its minimums, it's in your best interest to know this fact as soon as possible. Even more important because Subarus are known to consume oil.
Try to join local Subaru groups on Facebook. You will be able to ask specific Subaru questions there and get more detailed answers. I urge you to look for a trusted mechanic to properly diagnose your car. Your local Subaru group might be able to help give you a recommendation.

January 7th, 2025 02:29 PM #7Is it recommended that the small and big bushings for both sides of the car be replaced at the same time? That's what Fusion R told me but I want to confirm.

The 12-month warranty on the factory battery ended a few days ago. SOH is still good at over 90%,...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
