Pero meron oil na ang tawag nila ay multi-use.. pwede for gas or diesel engine..

sa ZIC, may pang diesel at gas talaga..

if you will change brake fluid, use DOT 4, yan na ang latest at papalit sa DOT 3

medyo maaga yata bumigay bushing nyan.. have it checked muna ulit.. minsan those rubber bushing looks like may punit or biyak pero hindi pala..

For Zic oils message crazy_boy, he will know much more about the oil lineup by Zic.

Re: diesel engine oils normally you can use them for gas engines as long as they also meet the required specs for your engine and has the same recommended viscosity. Diesel engine oils do have more detergent. Not sure if that will be an issue with Subie's boxer engines. Someone raised that question before in BITOG, just forgot what conclusion they arrived at. Diesel oils are called HDEO in the BITOG forum.

Exactly. I bought the 6L diesel jug last March 2021 and I didn't even notice until Fusion R mentioned it to me earlier.

I would suggest Amsoil OE 0w20. You can get them at Lazada.

I don't have the manual with me now but when I was asking about this a few years ago, I remember 5W-30 being recommended to me and that is what I've been using eversince I got this car. IIRC, MI also uses Motul 5W-30 for their engine oil for the 2018 XV.

Yeah, I bought Prestone DOT4 for brake fluid pero di ko nagamit kanina since malinis pa daw yung brake fluid ng car ko. Tapos makapal pa daw yung mga brake pads, both front and rear.

As for the bushings, kanino ko siya ipapacheck? Sa casa or another service center? Probably 2211 Works? Kasi wala naman kalampag na naririnig e.

sa brake fluid, not visually makikita yun quality.. hygroscopic kasi yan kaya nag absorb ng water.. since meron ka na din nabili, pwede naman yan drain and fill..

or pa bleed mo lang each brake..

Most probably it's just through visual checking. I was expecting them to be "experts" in this field.

Ok, I guess mas magandang ipacheck ko sa iba this time para may 2nd opinion. Most ng mileage ng car ko is because of my travel from Taguig to Pampanga and back. So yeah, wala naman lubak lubak most of the time.

Brake fluid has to be replaced regularly. There is a tester for it but since bleeding out the system is quick and cheap then it doesn't hurt to have it done when all four wheels are off already. Not many shops do this though. When I had my brakes bled last we did it the old-fashioned "bomba! pirmi!" way.

You should've gotten the X9 d2(not d1). Acea C3 good for both petrol & diesel. Suitable for most current models...keeps your parts bin lean, too.[emoji4]

Do you know if both 2211 and Fusion R do this method? Do you need a brake flush machine for this? Labor from Fusion R for brake fluid change is P1500.

I can't seem to find this in Lazada. I see it in Shopee but it's P1.1K/liter! I already bought 7 liters of Zic X7 5W-30 gasoline. Is there a significant difference between the two?

No idea if they do this. I am learning from your experiences hehe.

For 1500 they should have a tool that sucks out the fluid from each brake using an external compressor. This will be faster.

Haha, I see. So I asked them about this and they told me that they "manually" bleed out the fluid through each caliper. So is that the traditional way of doing it? Is there anything wrong in doing it like this?
