Sabi nila vacuum yung pagitan ng metal container kaya matagal ang lamig kasi walang hangin mag transfer ng heat between inner and outer metal. Baka yung fake hindi vacuum?

Ang laki ng difference sa price. I got a Hydroflask 24 oz on sale and I was surprised to see the original price was over P2k (for a 24 oz)
I don't wanna carry anything bigger kasi I want it to fit sa standard cup holder.

June 3rd, 2023 12:25 PM #79I'm using zojirushi brand, the one with ceramic coating. No metallic aftertaste compared to regular SS flask.
There is a secret coating applied to aluminum cans in beverages that eliminates the metal aftertaste.

June 3rd, 2023 01:04 PM #80errr,
it's a "secret" in that the consuming public is not universally aware of it,
but the thin plastic inner coating is common knowledge in the aluminum can beverage industry.
there are interesting youtube videos on how it can be... exposed.
aluminum is a reactive metal, and it has to be insulated in acid-containing foods like soft drinks, etc.
it also probably prevents that metallic taste...
la lang.
Agree with you there. Nicely put.
