Do they use soap or cleaning solution for split types? Parang water lang kasi ginagamit ng naglilinis. For window type I see them use a cleaning solution.

Soap lang at least sa nag service sa amin but you can request naman na take down cleaning for split type. Mas Mahal lang nga eh maraming work. Dahil ibaba nila indoor unit.
What I'm doing is spray the fins with this one before they clean it.

you just need to hose down the outdoor unit. akyat at tubigan fee.
hose and folding ladder if you want to do it your self. i would love to see women do these lol.
as for the indoor unit. I just wash the filter and vac the insides.

true the evaporator does condensate and makes a muddy mess does hindering the airflow. my units so far are not muddy. hehehe.
