Wish this popular North American hybrid version of window & split gets to our shores. Aesthetically ok inside out, easy to maintain & replace.

Analog/ non-inverter.
pinalit sa carrier na digital kasi ayaw na gumana nang remote ska nung mga digital controls.
Board daw problem. Used it for over 7 years.

i wonder,
are these units capable of blowing heated air as well as cold air?

but methinks the window type is still the easiest to service.
just yank it out, bring it to the service area, open it up and everything is visible and reach-able.

Midea is Chinese aircon company and it is where Carrier gets its parts and sila din distributor.

Meron yung Midea na parang hybrid window-split type

But near the floor is not the ideal position for cooling, isn't it? Warm air rises and cold air goes down.
