April 28th, 2014 01:39 PM #1The one at the office just conked out, burned out motor daw. Mga 2 years na rin pero madalang lang gamitin. Then i just heard that our neighbor's Sanyo AC conked out as well. Just wondering if this is just coincidence.
Ang alam kong matibay sa window-type AC is Panasonic, Condura/Carrier; not so sure for split-type/commercial/industrial ACs.

Just bought a carrier 2hp inverter split type yesterday at ansons...heto kasi yung highly recommended ng mga shops during my scouting. My 2 existing 2010 inverter panasonic units are still okay pa naman hanggang ngayon.
Magkano ba ang price difference sa sanyo bro, if not big go with the tested brand.

May 6th, 2014 10:38 AM #3Sa office namin to. Nagtaka nga ako why the contractor recommended that brand, e alam kong kilala is Carrier/Condura/Panasonic(this based on personal experience).

May 6th, 2014 11:00 AM #4Di ba dapat 5yrs minimum ang warranty ng compressor? Lahat ng natanungan ko 5yrs kasi bigay nila. 10yrs ang panasonic at samsung.
My kolin split suddenly had a locked compressor after 7yrs of heavy usage.
Im also scouting for an inverter a/c. So far lg ang cheapest.

Tumirik na rin aircon ko...Ok ba yung LG na brand? Parang siya pinakamura e, tapos sabi sa ibang forum, di daw sulit ang inverter type kung di nagagamit at least 10hrs a day..totoo ba?

May 14th, 2014 01:05 AM #10Get an inverter, sulit sa savings.
These reading is from my panasonic inverter 1.5hp unit. My old 1.5hp aircon gets a reading of 1200watts the whole night. While an inverter tapers the power down to 300w. Instant 75% less electricity consumed.
Inverters are more efficient if the rooms properly sealed because it maintains your specified temp more effectively.
One can only hope.
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
