I am using a couple of 25W Akari CFLs with photosensor for my outside lighting and they're still functional after more than 2 years of use.

However, nowadays, I could not find warm white variants,- just daylight variants....

I prefer warm white for outside lighting... In my limited experience,- they provide better visibility during rainy nights....

mahal din kasi yung CFL na may photosensor. kaya in my opinion, pwede bili nalang ng separate photosensor adapter + LED.

You are correct bro.,- IIRC, P370 per bulb yata iyong 25W Akari na may photosensor (vs. a regular bulb na parang P180 per bulb yata).

Anyone tried this?..

Tingin ko kasi bro, puwede dahil AC input (just) being converted to (low) DC, in the case of the LED bulb....

Hindi katulad ng CFL na AC being tapped by the (electronic) starter exciting the mercury vapor(?) in the bulb .....

Pag same wattage, dapat same consumption. But it doesn't mean na same brightness. Lumens dapat tignan for the brightness.

After reading your reply last night Sir, Napundi yung isang Panasonic 23w ko. What coincidence! hahaha. Now, I'll see if there's anything better I can get to replace it (if not, yun ulit).
