Ic. 10,000 burning hours yan? kung 10hrs/day mo ginagamit everyday aabot hangan 3 years.

    Assuming P8/KW-Hr.

Then your savings in consumption would be (0.025KW-0.0055KW)*10hours*P8/KW-Hr = P1.56
    In one month,- 30*P1.56 = P46.8

    Assuming na sabay silang mapupundi
Time to recover the price difference would then be (P515-P160)/P46.8/month = 7.58 months

Assuming na every 1 year napupundi ang CFL (fluorescent) bulb mo :
    >>> Kung every 11 months,- pundi ang LED bulb mo,- pingpong ang savings; it will really take a while, dahil nga masyadong mahal ang LED pa sa ngayon....

CFL less than a year talaga. Pero LED can last up to 6 years based on my modest computation. Actually 30,000 hours ang lifespan rating niya (gaya ng firefly although that is very dubious) pero kahit 25,000 hours lang sulit pa rin. It may take a while to get back the investment but IMO it's an investment.

    Sige bro,- balitaan mo kami....

Yes, LEDs have come a looooooonnnnnggggg way....

Noon,- circuit state/condition and then segment display lang ang gamit namin diyan sa electronic boards....

Sir CVT, may nagsabi sa akin na supplier that the led itself could last more than 5 years ung inverter inside the led would last for only 3 years and after that, bababa na ang lumens.

    We will see bro....

Pero siyempre, less life of the product >>> more frequent replacement >>> more volume >>> more profit....

^ Planned obsolescence.

I'm planning, though, to replace all of these with LED. Dual power, AC and DC (para pag power outage + possible Solar power system). Tapos isang controller lang.
