Restarting wont solve the underlying issue.
It will still try to connect and connect until it does cause that is what they are programmed to do.
Then for a while it will be stable then it will be down again and connect. It is hard to tell if it is a modem issue or not until a globe agent do a line test.
(They can do it remotely afaik).

Whahahahahahahahaha grabe... Ang mahal nga..
₱1400 lang monthly ko sa Globe 10Mbps wilth landline stable pa connection.
Naku basta PLDT and SMART hindi maganda customer service nila.. Sa mobile phone lang ako nag SMART kasi malakas mobile net nila dito sa amin compared sa Globe.

Oo nga. Trauma na ko sa experience ko sa pldt last year, 2 months na problem. Daming work orders, daming punta sa pldt store. Umiyak ako sa Phone noon kausap yung CS kasi na close ticket (by the remote tech) ko for the nth time ng walang resolution. Saka lang naayos yung line ko. [emoji22]
Globe seems to be handling the situation so far. The CS on fb messenger and phone (yes pareho ko sila kinakausap) eh may direct contact sa field nila and can get feed back. I hope it all goes well.

Sir nakakarelate ako... Naranasan ko po umiyak ng literal sa harap ng nag assist sakin nung naka SMART Broadband ako (10+ years ago na).. Sa sobrang haba ng ipinila ko, nagutuman na ako tapos nung ako na.. Ang sinabi sakin, kelangan ko personally pumunta ng Huawei Greenhills dahil Huawei ang mag chicheck dun ng router ko and kung sira ako din ang magbabayad.. That time hindi pa uso ang waze bahala ka mag locate based sa address..
Umiyak talaga ako (mixed emotion.. galit+gutom+hopeless+shock) nag suggest pa ako kung pwede sila na kumuha ng router ko dahil dala ko naman at sila ang mag padala sa Huawei at kung gawa na kunin ko na lang sa SMART branch.. Hindi daw ganun.. Ang sama-sama sa loob kasi hindi ko mailabas galit ko dahil wala naman kasalanan yung nag assist sakin.. Naiyak talaga ako sa harap nya.. Hahahahaha hays..
Salamat talaga na nag-decide ang Globe mag-provide ng service nila dito sa Subdivision.. Nung may issue Globe router ko pagdating ng technician upgraded agad sa latest router at FREE!! pati cables ko pinalitan nya.. Sobrang convinient, hassle free tapos walang gastos kaya sobrang happy ako sa Globe. Mag-9 years loyal customer na ako.. [emoji869][emoji869][emoji869][emoji41]

So na close yung ticket ko without the promised visit from the globe technician. Lumabas lang sa report na ni request ng tech i-close na yung ticket. Kahit walang nagpunta, kahit hindi na repair yung line ko.
Parang same experience ito with PLDT.
I'm stressed out, galing ako night shift and waited all day for the tech. I'm wondering how long will I wait before I cut this line, I need to cut all the source of stress in my life.

Sir.. Nakakalungkot naman yan.. I-escalate nyo na po yan sa next escalation team kapag tumawag kayo.. Na unacceptable po ginagawa nila dahil on time po bayad pero sablay service.. hindi po nila pwede kayong i-lock in lalo na meron kayo evidences.. Mention po na may evidence din kayo sa call.. Ibig sabihin sila po yung hindi nakasunod sa lock in contract..
