I remember there was a code dialled wherein calls/text can be prevented nor send. what are those codes again. I remember having tested it to both Globe and Smart.

yup but that will work only with voice calls. What i am looking is yung pwede pati sa sms. got it dati sa ebnc. . . sayang

As mazdamazda said, you can find it in your phone's menu, under the Security settings (for Nokia models).
It has the option to block voice calls, SMS and asynchronous data services. I'm pretty sure that it works for SMS, because I once tried sending a text message to myself with the barring activated for incoming calls, and failed to receive any.Last edited by Bogeyman; March 30th, 2005 at 04:54 PM.

Perhaps you can execute it but still it depends on your Network provider if they allows you to do it. ;)

by barring your incoming and outgoing calls, it will also bar your incoming and outgoing text. it works the same. now if you want to bar only your outgoing text, this is what you do. now it depends on the unit you have. there are some phones that have an option to send sms thru "GSM" or "GPRS", if you chose GPRS, you won't be allowed to send text at all, but your outgoing call wont be affected.

all of these codes are generic codes. it depends on your unit model and brand
I am currently observing the 2SM battery installed on my MU-X, Yuasa brand. Kaka 1 yr lang nito...
Cheaper brands than Motolite but reliable as well
