Speaking of which, si SuperMicro pa rin ba ang cheapest ?

yes dude, super micro pa din.
ang mahirap sa ibang non-branded na, yung warranty and availability of parts.
or go cloud.... Amazon EC2 has been giving us great experiences since last year.....

Ang ibinayad mo kasi na premium sa server is yung assurance na may parts ka and support for a certain duration. May self diagnostics din yun kaya bago pa bumigay nagrereport na...
Server kasi yan eh hindi basta makakabili ng parts kung saan lang not unless nga yung yung supermicro clones kinuha mo

I don't believe much about the warranty. Servers are generally over-engineered in the durability department. I would say most common failure culprits will be memory and power supplies rather than the board itself. In fact, pagkarating palang ng HP 380p server namin ni-void ko na agad yun warranty. I had 3rd party caddies shipped in from HK and ordered Intel SU3500 SSDs off Amazon.
I really hate mga enterprise hard drives prices locally. Asar sobra yun patong.
