Raikkonen chasing more wins for McLaren
In the last four races of the season
One British journalist promised to run around Silverstone naked if McLaren won a race this season, and Raikkonen has promised to turn up and see the show after making him eat his words. "Let's hope that he will keep his word," said Raikkonen, whose team boss Ron Dennis has already promised to put the event on. "I definitely will go and hopefully it is raining heavily so it will be even more fun
Finn Kimi Raikkonen has targeted further wins this year after completing his McLaren team's turn- around from also-rans to frontrunners with victory in the Belgian Grand Prix here Sunday. The British team started the season with aspirations of taking their first title success since 1998 but were left shocked by regular retirements as their cars failed to show their expected pace.
The team's new machine - the MP4-19B - was introduced at the French Grand Prix in July to help solve their problems, however, and Raikkonen now believes they can challenge for wins in the last four races of the year.
"I think the rest of the races should be pretty good for us," said Raikkonen. "It will be difficult to win always but we will give our best as a team and hopefully we can win some more races.
"We've been working hard especially because the start of the season was so difficult for us so finally we have got some good results and something back from the hard work and hopefully we can keep it up. It was a very good day for the whole team, starting from tenth and finishing first. Maybe many people didn't believe we could do that, but we had a strong car already on Friday and there will definitely be some good partying today."
McLaren were given a rude awakening when world champions Ferrari blitzed the field in the season-opening race in Australia while their drivers posted a total of four retirements in the first three races. The team soon admitted that their machine - the MP4-19 - was not as strong as its pre-season testing times had suggested and got to work on a new development in a bid to fight back to Ferrari.
Raikkonen claimed their first pole position of the season in the British Grand Prix in July, the car's second race, then finished second to hand the team their first podium of the season.

the safety cars deployed might be one of the reasons why the ferraris aren't that doing good... imagine, thre SC deployments!
even kimi was shown almost stopping at the middle of the track while the SC was still deployed to slow down schumi. and as you know, the bridgestones doesn't like that.
but we'll see if ferrari can counter the new mclaren machine next year.
