    It would be quite difficult for one man to kill 60 people and wound over 500 with a truck or knives/swords. Paddock did it in the safety of his hotel room over half a click away.



    Fertilizer bombs are illegal and a lot harder to acquire than guns. An individual will also need the necessary chemical know-how to build one.

    Any undiagnosed nutcase in Nevada with good credit can get an AR-15 with a credit card. A few Google searches and he can then convert it to fully automatic, which is probably what happened here.

    Guns are just too easy to get in the US.
