Someone should kill him instead. Justice here is stupid because it sides only for those who can afford it.

from what i heard, Tony Leviste is a man full of s__t inside his closet.
nakakagulat nga bakit sya pinatulan ni Loren. but now that Loren has shown
her true colors, its not that surprising anymore.
let's just hope justice will prevail at the end.

January 22nd, 2007 11:15 AM #23i met gov leviste several years ago on a job interview. I didnt notice anything unusual about him and i think im kind of a good reader of other people. He was smiling during our entire meeting and had no airs at all. Thats my impression of him. Loren was on the rise then so maybe everything was looking up for him. Of course it was just one meeting.
without pertaining to this case, im just curious about the bullets being relevant if murder or homicide. kasi automatic weapons fire in bursts so one squeeze of the trigger would pump so many bullets to the target.

RE: Blood pressure: if you're at risk of spending the rest of your natural life in jail, you'd have a stress-induced attack, too.
40k lang ang bail? Wow... that's encouraging... so if I want to kill someone, a quick trip to the ATM will get me out, huh?
Isn't Murder one an unbailable offense?
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Justice secretary Gonzales said that based on the bullet wounds of the victim, Leviste should have been charged with murder a non bailable offense instead of homicide
Justice Gonzales is replacing prosecutor Henry Salazar upon the request of the victim's relatives.

It is not the number of bullets per se that is important if indeed an automatic weapon was used. But in this case a semi-auto pistol was purported to be the murder weapon. Which means that only one bullet exited the barrel per pull of the trigger. So the number of bullets that went out of the barrel is equal to the number of times the trigger was pulled.
What is more crucial here is the TRAJECTORY of the bullets and where they hit. If the bullets have a trajectory coming from above, it could have meant that the victim was still being shot despite being down [e.g. on the ground/chair] already and is not a threat anymore [invalidates self defense alibi]. 'Defense wounds' on the victims could mean that the victim was no longer in an offensive stance during the shooting [again invalidating self defense]. A point of entry in the back of the head is also very unlikely in a self defense case since it would mean the victim's back was turned from the shooter at the time of the shooting.
Si Lito Lapid lang ang alam kong bumabaril ng patalikod na bulls eye pa din.
