Well, one of the most reviled officials of the Arroyo government has died....

MANILA – Former Justice Secretary Raul Gonzalez Sr. has passed away, his family said.

Gonzalez, 83, died on Sunday evening at the National Kidney and Transplant Institute (NKTI), according to his son, former Iloilo City Rep. Raul Gonzalez Jr.

Gonzalez served as Justice secretary during the time of former President Gloria Macagapal Arroyo. He also served as representative of Iloilo City.

In 2007, Gonzalez underwent kidney transplant. His kidney donor was his driver of about three decades.
This guy was in a class all by himself in disregarding civil and political rights of persons, especially those who were perceived as enemies of PGMA.
