Lots of ways that whole IP address thing could have happened legitimately.

If they were using a proxy gateway (like Cloudflare) to handle incoming traffic for example then all the incoming IP addresses would be the IP of the proxy server. If they wanted to get the actual external IPs, then they need to get the proxy logs or install the appropriate mods to their internal app (which is probably prohibited because it means modifying the results server).



If they connected using a VPN, the IP addresses will also become LAN IPs.

I've been hearing about this over at FB for months now. Looks like the TNTrio have managed so unearth something but the question is whether they can find the "smoking gun" or any solid trail of evidence. I ain't getting my hopes up though.
